How do I get started on eButterfly?

Welcome to eButterfly! Here are some basics to get you started. The best way to add data to eButterfly is by taking good notes at each location. Whenever you go butterfly watching, try to keep a checklist of all the butterflies you see, with estimated counts of each species. It's a good idea to limit your checklists to relatively refined geographic areas, such as your yard, a local park, or a favourite natural reserve hiking path. The more specific you are about your locations, the better the My eButterfly tools can build your lists. There's no limit to the number of locations you can have, and a good general rule is to be as specific as possible with your site information.
